We all know that feeling: when a client walks in, sits across from you, and says, “You know what? I want to live somewhere incredibly boring.”

No? Go figure.

It turns out that most people want to be able to have fun in their new ‘hood. Fortunately, WalletHub has compiled a list of the 150 largest U.S. cities and ranked them based on 51 key entertainment metrics, including variety, nightlife, dining, weather, costs and more.

Pulling in at number one overall: Sin City itself, Las Vegas. No surprise there (although it does rank a mediocre 103 when it comes to costs).

Rounding out the top five are Orlando, FL; Miami, FL; New Orleans, LA; and Salt Lake City, UT.

Los Angeles, unfortunately, didn’t do too well on the list, coming in at #110 for overall fun. Even though it did pretty well in Entertainment and Nightlife (#69 and #76, respectively), its prohibitively expensive costs knocked it way down in the rankings, just below Charlotte, NC, and Lubbock, TX. (We know. LUBBOCK. Come on.)

For a closer look at the rankings, head on over to WalletHub for their in-depth analysis, and let us know what you think. Do you agree with their findings? Let us know in the comments!
